“Gone for the Summer” takes it back to the early 2000s where Saturday mornings were for new music video releases. Playing off of the Field Mob sample, TyShawn Dion compares getting a new “boo” to being gone for the summer’s hookup shenanigans. With one last family friendly party, before the cold comes back and the fun is over, the retro elements of this video provide a feel that is hard to not smile through.
