Tove Lo’s “Cool Girl” has been having a chill run at the pop charts. It’s currently saddled at No. 84 on the Hot 100, and now it has a new video backing it. The Tim Erem-directed clip examines just how cool the Swedish singer can be in a desert by a motel. The results are a bit mixed: Imagine looking out of your motel window and seeing Tove Lo randomly grinding atop of a car as dancers do weird spasms inside of it. The head-on car collision that closes the video doesn’t seem that chill either.
Watch the video below. “Cool Girl,” produced by the Struts, is the lead single for Lady Wood, which is due October 28.
