Tommy-G is back after his number 1 hip-hop album “Worship No Idols” dropped in February. The Irish artist has dropped a brand new thought provoking track, entitled “Terminal 1” produced by the prolific WHSPR which touches on the topic of women who travel from Ireland to England to access abortion services that are unavailable in Ireland due to the 8th Amendment of the Irish Constitution.
On Friday May 25th, Ireland will take this part of the constitution to a vote and will determine whether the 8th is Repealed. Tommy released this song, which is accompanied by a visual shot and directed by Tommy. This video shows the process women in Ireland go through everyday. 9 Irish women a day travel to access abortions outside of Ireland and this video shows the travel and women must to access this vital lifeline for women. The song is a though provoking call to arms for people to get out and vote.
