Akron-based recording artist Missingno. releases the music video for the single, ‘Mood’, off of his latest project ‘808-Bit Music’.
‘Mood’ is a slow to mid-tempo electronic song that captures the edgy, slightly angsty emotions of wanting to be left alone, waking up on the wrong side of the bed, missing your morning coffee, or just having a bad day. Seeing as how ‘Mood’ flips a sample from the original Pokemon games over a synthy, 808-driven instrumental, it has some elements of Hip-hop / R&B in it but the song lands somewhere between those genres.
The ‘Mood’ music video has multiple references to the original Pokemon game but it essentially features the artist dejectedly walking around Highland Square in the middle of heavy snowfall while wearing a Pikachu onesie and singing.
