Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, the birthplace of the motor industry, singer-songwriter Dion Price is no stranger to hard work. “I love being on the road, performing, perfecting myself as an artist and working with other so I can learn everything I can.” Since discovering his love for performing in high school, he hasn’t stopped playing in front of audiences across the US (sharing stages with artists including Juicy J, K Camp, August Alsina, Tory Lanez, Omarion, Trina, and TK Kirkland).
Dion continues to write and record his reflective R&B-infused pop for anyone seeking music with real soul and relatable content: “Music reaches out to other lives, it effects people in a deeper place and I want to contribute to that. Making music for other people is something I need to be a part of.”
His latest project “I Hope You Get This Message” aims to shine light on personal growth. “IHUGTM is a project to inspire understanding of self. The message is to boldly address your habits in order to grow. Creatively, I took on the challenge of combining everything we used to love with everything we love now. It has an old school vibe mixed with new school content, in a soulful way.”
Having toured widely in the US, Dion is now looking forward to building on his connections in the UK and continue to spread his message across the pond: “I don’t just want to make music that you listen to; I want to make music you can FEEL within every bone of your body.”
