Danila Sigal, songwriter and inspirational leader, whom for over a decade has been dedicated to the creation of a spectacular pop motivational music catalog, unfolded from her own metastatic breast cancer diagnosis, launches once again her annual breast cancer awareness campaign with her new single “MI TREN” (My Train), featuring her friend, the Venezuelan pianist and singer Diamari Quilarque.
The new song composed by Danila, is already available in all digital platforms, as well as her recently released music video, in which you will be able to see her with different headwear styles related to her current chemotherapy treatment, illustrating that even in sickness we can still target to look good. Produced by Sigal Productions, directed by Ramon Palmero, with choreography from Venezuelan artist Ana V. Quilarque, participation of dancers Yusnai Detraux, Stefy PalSig and Greta Doig; filmed in the Boca Raton Train Museum, as well as in Boca Raton Living Green Café; Make-Up Artist Stefy PalSig.
The musical arrangement was done by talented Venezuelan producer Raziel (JF Records, Venezuela), vocal recording and mixing by the multi-Latin Grammy Nominee, Adrian Demori (Heiga Studios, Miami), with collaboration from renowned sound engineer, also Latin Grammy Nominee, Orlando Di Pietro (Mondo Records, Mexico City).
The song is a call-to-to-action, in an upbeat, very catchy urban/Latin genre, that invites us to reflect upon whom or what we will allow on our life-train. It puts the decision on our hands emphasizing that we have the power to choose which thoughts and attitudes will influence our circumstances, and that we need to always attempt to take a proactive role in the search for solutions.
Danila Sigal is Honorable Winner of the 2014 International Songwriter Competition (ISC) in the Latin Category, as well as semi-finalist ISC 2015 & 2016.
