Meet LA-based indie pop artist CHIANNE, whose unique brand of conscious pop aims to uplift and motivate people in a weary world!
The international, multilingual singer has a new single + video out Friday, November 1, 2019 for “Flames”, a mellow piano power-ballad with a symphonic feel and a message of courage, similar to the sounds of LÉON, VÉRITÉ, and Ingrid Michaelson.
CHIANNE’s primary goal is to use her art and music to encourage others to follow their true passions, stay committed to their own dreams, and actualize their truest, most authentic selves. She calls her work “conscious pop” — yummy, feel-good music that aims to enliven the masses, rather than commiserate.
Born in Ankara, Turkey, CHIANNE (real name Cihannur Ozgur) has already lived many lives: fashion designer in Italy, Istanbul, and New York City; wedding planner in Amsterdam; and now, up-and-coming musician in Los Angeles. Always a voracious learner and scholar, CHIANNE studied at the Musicians’ Institute in Hollywood and began writing and recording her own songs. She went on to become a finalist out of 14,000 participants in the annual 97.1 AMP Radio We Can Survive concert’s Opening Act competition. She sings in English, Turkish, Italian, French, and Spanish.
Look for CHIANNE’s debut EP coming in early 2020!
