Just outside the city of Atlanta, Yung Chino was born in 1999 and grew up in Gwinnett County, Georgia (aka the Nawfside or the Nawf for short, both nicknames popularized by the Migos). He went to Parkview High School, which is actually 10 minutes from where the Migos went to high school at Berkmar. He currently balances the life of being an independent artist and a student at Georgia State University.
Originally released on SoundCloud in early 2018, “So Large” and “NAWF / EAST” are the first 2 singles from his upcoming project called TrapChino, planned to be released sometime in 2019.
Similar to Rich Brian and NAV, he is part of the growing cultural diversity of artists breaking barriers in today’s rap music. Influenced by a wide range of artists while also developing his own unique sound, Yung Chino looks to be off to a promising start so far in 2018.
